According to highlights from the bulletin, Türkiye’s unemployment rate increased by 0.1 percentage points to 8.6% in November. The unemployment rate was estimated at 7.0% for men and 11.8% for women.

In China, the Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) increased to 50.1 in December, exceeding economists’ expectations of 49.2 and rising above the November reading of 49.2. A PMI reading above 50 indicates expansion in the sector.
