Experience Economics with our Experimental Economics Laboratory

As Ibn Haldun University Department of Economics, we offer students the opportunity to take theory out of the classroom thanks to our laboratory dedicated to the study of experimental economics. In this environment equipped with all the necessary materials, we test the research that falls within the scope of experimental economics in practice and support your researcher spirit.

This laboratory is not only limited to in-class applications, but also allows our students to design independent experiments, develop behavioral economics projects and contribute to the national/international experimental economics literature. Thus, we provide analytical, questioning and methodological skills that will make a difference in academia or the private sector after graduation.

Economics Education with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

We teach economics not only in theory but also by integrating it with current data science techniques. In our courses such as "Data Science for Economists", "Machine Learning and AI", "Data Mining and Big Data", our students gain the ability to combine artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analytics with economic analysis.

In these courses, students develop the ability to analyze micro and macro data using the Python programming language. They also reinforce what they have learned through project-based studies and learn to apply their data-based decision-making, modeling and forecasting skills to real-world economic problems. Thus, they are fully equipped to meet the rapidly transforming expectations of the business world.

Economic Seminars Organized Every Week

Our weekly graduate economics seminars bring our students together with current research in both theoretical and applied economics. These seminars, which are also open to our undergraduate students, create discussion environments where participants will explore different perspectives.

In these seminars, our students have the opportunity to listen to the latest works of both Ibn Haldun University graduate students and invited researchers from Türkiye and abroad. Thus, they learn that economics is a living and constantly evolving field, observing first-hand how new theories and applications are produced.

Multilingual Education with Distinguished Academic Staff

Our academic staff consists of both local and foreign faculty members. Thus, our students not only improve their economic knowledge, but also strengthen their international academic communication skills. Our structure, which prioritizes academic-student interaction, makes the learning process more sincere and effective.

This multilingual and multicultural environment provides our students with a multidimensional understanding of the global economy, comparing different methodological approaches and preparing them for academic careers or professional job opportunities in Türkiye or abroad after graduation. We live our vision of providing a globally integrated economics education in our classrooms every day.
