The 48th Issue of the Weekly Economic Bulletin Has Been Published
The 48th issue of the Weekly Economic Bulletin, prepared by the Economic Research Unit of the Department of Economics at Ibn Haldun University, has been released. In this issue, global and domestic economic developments are analyzed, and up-to-date data on the Turkish, U.S., European, and Asian economies are evaluated.

According to some of the highlights from our bulletin, industrial production in Türkiye increased by 2.9% year-on-year in September, while declining by 2.2% on a monthly basis. Meanwhile, according to the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye’s (CBRT) market participants survey for November, the 12-month ahead inflation expectation rose to 23.49%.

Gold traded at around $4,180 per ounce on the last trading day of the week, while gram gold was priced at approximately ₺5,688.

In the United States, data released by ADP Research showed that companies laid off an average of 11,250 employees per week in the four-week period ending October 25.

The Eurozone Investor Confidence Index fell from -3.7 in October to -7.4 in November, marking the fourth consecutive month of negative sentiment.
