The 47th Issue of the Weekly Economic Bulletin Has Been Published
The 47th issue of the Weekly Economic Bulletin, prepared by the Economic Research Unit of the Department of Economics at Ibn Haldun University, has been released. In this issue, global and domestic economic developments are analyzed, and up-to-date data on the Turkish, U.S., European, and Asian economies are evaluated.

According to some of the highlights from our bulletin, in Türkiye, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.55% monthly in October, while the Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) rose by 1.63%. On an annual basis, inflation stood at 32.87% for consumer prices and 27% for domestic producer prices. Also, the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) projected year-end inflation at 32%.

Gold traded around $4,000 per ounce on the last trading day of the week, while gram gold was priced at approximately ₺5,438.

In the United States, total public debt exceeded $38 trillion as of October 22, reaching a record high. It is estimated that public debt will rise to $38.3 trillion by the end of 2025, with the debt-to-GDP ratio increasing from 122.3% to 125%.

Meanwhile, China announced that it will not extend the additional 24% tariff on U.S. goods for another year, but it will maintain its 10% tax.
