It was a dinner of inspiring chatters on June 12, 2022 for the faculty and granduands at the maiden IHU Economics Graduands Dinner.
With appetizers, the students narrated their fun and inspiring memories at Ibn Haldun University as the faculty listened with the pride of a young parent.
Consistent with the collegiality of the university and the Economics Department, the friendly chatters continued with the faculty recollecting their own fun memories during their college years and during the 4 years they have spent as faculty with the students and queried the students on their future plans.
It was refreshing to know that all the graduands have already figured out “what next?” with most of them having received admissions with funding for Masters and Ph.Ds in prestigious universities, job offers and/or have already started their own entrepreneurial ventures.
The faculty led by the Head of Department, Professor Rasim Özcan, assured the graduands of their continued support and adviced the graduands to believe in themselves and to advance the good of humanity in whatever they do.
They were also entreated to keep in touch and to support the Department in building a strong alumni community.
The dinner ended with farewells
