Alumni News: Warmest Congratulations to the 2022 IHU-Econ Graduates
It was a moment of pride for parents and of accomplishment for the graduates as they received their diplomas for having successfully completed various degree programs in the 2021-2022 academic year at the 4th graduation ceremony. This year’s ceremony, the 1st time undergraduate Diplomas were awarded was graced by His Excellency the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of the Republic of Turkiye.

It was a moment of pride for parents and of accomplishment for the graduates as they receieved their diplomas for having successfully completed various degree programs in the 2021-2022 academic year at the 4th graduation ceremony. This year’s ceremony, the 1st time undergraduate Diplomas were awarded was graced by His Excellency the  President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of the Republic of Turkiye.

At the ceremony, 8 students were awarded Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics.

The department was the prouder knowing that all our graduates have  satisfactorily figured out the “What Next” question with 6 set to pursue various advance degree programs whiles the rest kick-start work life with employment offers in hand and/or are running their own business.

While the department Valedictorian, Mohammedamın Taha Mussa, is heading to the United States to pursue a Ph.D in Economics at Oklahoma University (OU), Abdulrahman Basheer Ali Al Koli is heading to Qatar to pursue a Masters in Development Economics at the Doha Institute. The rest are Murad Ahmadzada, Masters in Financial Analysis at Temple University, USA, Mohammed Gedi Ibrahim, Masters in Data Analytics at Tufts University , USA, Mıranda Canga and Ayşe Müberra Bozaba, Masters in Islamic Finance and Economics and Masters in Digital Humanities and Society at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar respectively. Of those who have chosen to kick-start their careers, Muhammed Arif Kaba is pursuing self-employment whiles Safa Faadil has accepted an offer as Assistant Coordinator for Middle East with Dış Ekonomik İlişkiler Kurulu  (DEİK).

We firmly believe that our graduates will build on what they have learned from Ibn Haldun University and combine it with their unique talents to achieve self-fulfiment whiles serving country and humanity.
