The Department of Economics continues its "IHU Economics Seminars" series. Our PhD student Ahsan Shafique’s first topic titled "Robustness of the Balassa-Samuelson Effect in Determination of REER" and our MA student Enes Cebe on the second topic "Can Twitter Data Provide Guidance for Macroeconomic Forecasting? A Case of Istanbul Inflation”. Our MA student Zoha Memon will present the third topic named " The impact of Israel-Palestine conflict on Regional Economy" and as the fourth topic, our MA student Usman Isyaku Ali will present the topic titled “The Impact of Interest Rate on inflation in the Nigerian Economy”. The seminar will be held on Friday, December 29th between at 14.15 at Teoman Duralı Conference Hall.
